Regional

Every year in May, Lace City Chorus participates in our regional contest. Choruses and quartets from Scotland, England, Wales and the Netherlands come together to sing and compete. This year's contest was at the Sage in Gateshead and we were delighted to bring home the gold for our 4th successive competition.  Full details of regional competitions, including results, are published on the Quartet of Nations website.

International

Annually during the Autumn the winners of all regional contests, and a few "wildcards" gather together at International competition. The 2011 International competition will be held in Houston, Texas in October.  Lace City Chorus, as 2009 regional champions, will be competing in the contest.  Perhaps a little too far for you to travel to see us perform, however, you can view the contest on a live webcast on the Sweet Adeline International website.  Watch this space for more information.
